NOTE: I would have organized this based on the Masterworks editions, but back when they were first being done, somebody had the brilliant idea to have this entire run collected in a single volume...except the last five issues. I think this way works quite a bit better.

Fred Van Lente Day
Today is Fred Van Lente Day, which the folks over at CBR's Comics Should Be Good blog have been celebrating for five years now. Fred Van Lente (web/twitter) is a Xeric Grant and American Library Association award winner from his work (with Ryan Dunlavey) on Action Philosophers!, a New York Times Best-Selling Author (with Greg Pak) on Incredible Hercules. Additionally his work on Cowboys & Aliens (with Andrew Foley) is being adapted into a major motion picture directed by Jon "Iron Man" Favreau and starring Daniel "007" Craig and Harrison "Get off my Plane" Ford.
He also wrote MODOK's 11 which is the kind of comic every other writer wishes they could write. Naturally.
Now in the spirit of Fred Van Lente Day, as well as my MO with the MDCUO, I thought a nice way to celebrate on this end was to take everything Fred has done at Marvel (available on the MDCU, at least) and post them here. Under normal posting circumstances, I would post enough of a series/run that I felt if there were any gaps it wouldn't be detrimental to one's reading experience. This is slightly problematic given that much of his work isn't 100% complete (along with some of it still being a work in progress).
However, today is a special circumstance. Today is Fred Van Lente Day. So I hope you enjoy today's offerings.
