NOTE: I'm using the reading order suggested by UncannyXmen.Net (link to which can be found above) that is based chronologically within the universe.  X-Men Alpha (14) is the 'true' start to the story, with the comics listed before a selection of prequel one-shots/mini-series that were released some time after. Additionally X-Men Omega (49) and X-Universe #2 (50) mark the 'true' end, with the comics listed after were released the celebrate the Age of Apocalypse's 10th anniversary. I'd recommend reading their basic overviews of the titles, depending on how many of the titles you're interested in reading.
