Wolverine: The Adamantium Collection

I usually don't add a lot of commentary to these, but then again this post is definitely an exception to most of the others, so I'll give a little context here. Generally when I list an 'omnibus' on this site, I tend to focus on a specific creative vision of some sort or a full series run of some sort as opposed to doing a grab bag of semi-related comics.

Wolverine's a bit of a different case. He's a character who has probably appeared in more teams, team ups, fights, crossovers, one-shots, mini-series, etc. than anyone in the Marvel Universe. Selecting 'a' Wolverine run can be somewhat difficult, because there's simply so much featuring the character, and so many writers have either written the character, revisited the character years later or simply just used him in a story that it would be hard to define any 'run' with him despite the wealth of content featuring him.

So with the release of The Wolverine today, I offer this collection of early appearances, solo stories, team spotlights, certified classics and a few fan favorites. Enjoy.
